Two urban villas enter into dialog with each other - balconies in front can be used like tree houses

upstream "green rooms"

The design attempts to provide clear answers to the specific conditions of the site – its location on a main road at the entrance to the city and next to a park with mature trees.
The potential building volume is divided into two compact structures, positioned between the trees and aligned with the conditions of the site, creating two city villas that enter into dialogue with each other. The volumes of the two houses take on a mediating role in relation to the heterogeneous surroundings: the small-scale nature of the single-family houses to the north is reflected in the divided building mass, while the five-storey Goethe housing estate on Itzlinger Hauptstraße to the south is referenced.
In the floor plan, only the staircase and ancillary rooms face the main street, while the apartments themselves face the quiet park. Within the park, the apartments are preceded by „green rooms“.
